Reflexology Treatment Time - 1 hour
Relexology can bring relief to a wide range of conditions as it has a deelpy relaxing effect on mind and body as a whole.
Reflexology is based on the principle that there are areas on the feet & hands which correspond to all of the organs, glands & parts of the body. Stimulation of these reflexes works on the 8 corresponding systems, skeletal, muscular, neurological, respiratory, endocrine, digestive vascular and reproductive. Over 75% of health problems can be attributed to stress and tension and Reflexology helps restore vitality and relieve stress within the body. Being non invasive Reflexology is suitable from babies to the elderly.
During a treatment specific techniques will be applied to points on the feet/hands thus improving blood, lymph and nerve circulation, creating deep relaxation whilst balancing the bodys systems. Treatments will take 45mins to an hour and a full medical consultation form will be completed before all Reflexology treatments. All U-16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Hot Stone Reflexology takes your Reflexology treatment to another level helping you feel restored, rebalanced and rejuvenated. This enhancing and indulgent treatment uses various massage techniques and hot stones to relax the body at its deepest level, easing muscle tension, stress, promoting a feeling of inner calm. Cold stones may be introduced into your treatment at stages depending on conditions needing treated.
It is believed that the heat of the stones yield 5 times deeper and 5 times longer the effects compared to a normal reflexology treatment. The heat of the stones relaxes the muscles of the legs and feet allowing deeper work into the reflex areas.
- Its a deeply warming and relaxing treatment, releasing tension and anxiety within the body
- Heat penetrates to a much deeper level which brings about physiological changes improving energy flow
- improved blood circulation and lymphatic drainage
- promotes the release and elimination of toxins from the body

Reflexology is for women at any stage in their fertility planning, whether they are enhancing their general health before trying for a baby or experiencing problems with conception. Reflexology will help strengthen the immune system and stimulate the release of oxytocin and the endorphins responsible for a deep state of relaxation reducing stress, as stress can play a significant factor with fertility.
The following common reproductive health issues have all shown improvement from regular reflexology treatments, poly cystic ovaries, hormonal imbalances, endometriosis and other menstrual issues. Fertility Reflexology helps promote vitality in the reproductive organs, regulate the menstrual cycle, promote ovulation and reduce pms symptoms.

Orthopedic reflexology is a form of manual therapy and it differs from other reflexology forms by applying knowledge from the ancient Greek and Roman Physicians.
Reflexology focuses on the reflexes/zones of the body found on the feet but Orthopedic reflexology specifically targets the anatomy and physiology of the foot and lower leg including working on the bones, muscles tendons, ligaments and fascia. Orthopedic Reflexology allows the therapist to discriminate the exact circumstance of soft tissue on their clients feet enabling the therapist apply the correct technique to re balance the tissues, Chinese meridians, myofacial merdians tigger points etc.
Orthopedic reflexology works deeply and specifically on the intrisic and extrinsic muscles of the feet which helps restore the natural biomechanics of the feet , aiding gait patterns and enhancing proprioception. All the muscles of the lower leg are connected to the feet making Orthopedic reflexology extremely beneficial to to both foot and lower leg related problems as it treats both as a unit during a treatment.
I have been trained under Spiros Dimitrakoulas, the Founder of Orthopedic Reflexology, he is the Former President of the Hellenic Association of Reflexology and the Chair of the Reflexology in Europe Network, Spiros also heads the team of Reflexologists at the pain clinic University Aretaieio Athens.
